1. Create the board#

Open the Designer and set the width and height at the top. For this walkthrough, start with a 40 × 40 cm square board.

    Check the measurement system

    Choose metric or imperial in your profile. New projects use this preference.

    Choose a blank board

    Open Create and select “Blank board”.

    Verify the outside dimensions

    The status line above the canvas shows the current size.

2. Place the first slat#

Under the manual part builder, enter the length, width, rotation, and gap. Choose a wood species, add the slat, and drag it into position.

3. Complete the pattern#

    Duplicate parts

    Reuse an existing slat when dimensions repeat.

  2. 02
    Arrange the selection

    Align selected parts horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.

  3. 03
    Mirror the design

    Build one half or quarter, then transfer it with the symmetry tool.

4. Save and export#

Select Save, give the project a clear name, and open Export. Before downloading, check the part count, materials, angles, and gaps.
