What is WoodMinded Designer?#

WoodMinded Designer is a browser-based planning tool for geometric woodworking. Design at true scale, snap real outside edges together, and turn the finished pattern into an organized cut list.

It connects two jobs that usually happen separately: visual composition and workshop preparation.

The recommended workflow#

    Set the board

    Choose the shape, width, height, and measurement system for the finished piece.

    Build the pattern

    Add individual slats, apply a starter pattern, or load a design from your library.

    Place everything precisely

    Snap edges, use guides, align selections, and verify distances.

    Choose materials and finishes

    Assign wood species and add text, decoration, or a frame when needed.

  5. 05
    Save and export

    Save the project and generate a client view, assembly plan, or cut list.
